Two projects, one way to learn
AprendoMates was created with the same philosophy as Aprendo Música. It is a project devoted to maths, also shaped by teaching experience. Both share a simple idea: learning through practice with clear, accessible interactive activities.
At AprendoMates, primary school children can choose a topic, play a short round and try again whenever they need to. The games run in a browser, with nothing to install, on computers, tablets and phones.
Each activity focuses on a particular skill. Children can return to a times table they still find difficult, work through a calculation at their own pace or switch to a logic challenge. There is no set route to follow: what matters is choosing a level where they can make progress, learn from mistakes and want to try again.
What can you practise?
To build confidence with numbers, try times tables games and addition and subtraction activities, with different challenges to progress step by step. You can also practise multiplication with larger numbers. If you would rather think through a problem than calculate, try the logic puzzles.
In class and at home
Short rounds make it easy to fit in some practice in class or to review a topic at home. The teaching guide for AprendoMates summarises the content and suggested ages for each level, helping teachers and families choose where to start.
